“Training Teachers To Train Students To Organize in the Twenty-First Century”

Organization is a skill that crucial to success in all areas of life, yet many teachers take this skill for granted, with or without awareness. This instructional project focuses on training teachers at The American School Foundation in Mexico City how to implement the use of standard structures and routines to develop student organizational skills. The instruction was designed as a series of trainings. The session exemplified in the Enabling Objectives Matrix below, Session 2 : Google Task Agenda, focuses on introducing teachers a standardized digital agenda system that they will be able to introduce to students and hold them accountable for the use of the agenda throughout the school year. The example content is a standards document created to support learning through identifying standards and guidelines using descriptions, examples and pictures.
